Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Auto Transport Logistics Coordinator (Dispatcher) to join our expanding logistics team. In this role, you will manage vehicle transportation schedules, coordinate with drivers, customers, and carriers, and ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of vehicles. You will play a vital role in optimizing transport routes, handling dispatch operations, and providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicle shipments between shippers, drivers, and customers.

  • Communicate daily with drivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

  • Monitor and track shipments through the entire delivery process, providing real-time updates to clients.

  • Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain profitable logistics operations.

  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve shipment issues, and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors.

  • Prepare transport documents including Bills of Lading, load confirmations, and dispatch notes.

  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.

  • Utilize logistics software and tools to manage loads, driver schedules, and route optimization.

  • Report and analyze transportation data to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and drivers.

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in logistics and dispatch management software (e.g., Super Dispatch, TruckStop, Central Dispatch, or similar).

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatching, or auto transport operations.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexibility in hours depending on transport schedules.
