<p>Microavia is a leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative drones, located in the Silicon Oasis area of Dubai. We are committed to creating the technologies of the future, ensuring high quality and functionality of our products.</p><p>In MICROAVIA we are developing a drone-in-a-box solution for critical infrastructure & perimeter surveillance. The heart of the system is server-side software that puts together drones, landing stations, client computers, and other devices. Users have full control over any drone connected to the system, including live video streaming. Operation of the system is highly automated, server software controls all operations: performing flights according to schedule, battery swap, preflight checks, missions uploading, downloading high resolution data after flight, and many other necessary things. A typical setup may count up to 100 drones-in-a-box.</p><p>We develop all mechanics, electronics, on-board and ground software ourselves, which allows us to effectively integrate all components with each other and quickly solve issues and implement new features.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Cable Assembler is responsible for manufacturing cable assemblies, performing soldering work, participating in product testing, and contributing to mechanical assembly tasks as required. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Cutting and stripping wires</li><li>Crimping cables and assembling them into connectors</li><li>Applying adhesives, sealants, and working with heat-shrink tubing, cable braids, and other materials</li><li>Performing soldering of wires into connectors</li><li>Conducting quality control and functional testing of cable assemblies</li><li>Assembling mechanical parts related to cable production</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred (will be an advantage):</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>PCB assembly</li><li>PCB testing</li><li>PCB Soldering</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or higher</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>3 Years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in cable production and electrical installation</li><li>Experience with PCB soldering</li><li>Experience in testing electronic devices</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards such as:</li><li>IPC-A-610F – Acceptance Criteria for Electronic Assemblies</li><li>IPC/WHMA-A-620 – Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read assembly drawings, electrical and connection diagrams</li><li>Proficient in using tools for cable production and quality control</li><li>Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn</li><li>Excellent command of both verbal and written English</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Location: Dubai, Silicon Oasis</li><li>Working time: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday</li><li>Friendly, professional, international team</li><li>Comfortable office in Dubai, full of excited engineers in different fields to learn from</li><li><strong>Compensation:</strong> Competitive and <strong>negotiable salary</strong>, based on your skills and experience, to be discussed after the <strong>successful completion of the test</strong></li></ul><p></p>
