Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Carpenter Foreman to oversee and manage carpentry operations for residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, project management, and team supervision, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to project timelines. This role combines hands-on carpentry expertise with leadership responsibilities, coordinating a team of carpenters and assisting in planning, execution, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a team of carpenters and laborers on residential construction sites.

  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize daily carpentry tasks to meet project deadlines.

  • Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and design specifications accurately.

  • Ensure all carpentry work meets safety standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain and manage inventory of tools, materials, and equipment required for carpentry tasks.

  • Train and mentor junior carpenters, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.

  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction teams for seamless workflow.

  • Inspect completed work for quality and precision, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

  • Report project progress, challenges, and resource requirements to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or Senior Carpenter in residential construction projects.

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Certification in carpentry or construction management is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.

  • Demonstrated track record in successfully completing residential projects on time and within budget.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role, Monday to Saturday, 8–10 hours per day (may vary based on project requirements).

  • Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases.
