Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, motivated, and eager to work in a fast-paced construction environment. As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople, operate tools and equipment, and ensure that construction sites are safe, clean, and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general construction duties such as site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.

  • Assist skilled workers including carpenters, masons, plumbers, and electricians as directed.

  • Load, unload, and move building materials around the job site.

  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely.

  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain compliance with company and site regulations.

  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, asphalt, or mortar as needed.

  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.

  • Report hazards, damages, or incidents immediately to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.

  • Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

  • Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.

  • Awareness of workplace safety and hazard prevention.

Experience

  • Prior experience in construction or labor-intensive work is an advantage but not required.

  • Entry-level candidates with strong motivation and commitment will also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard shift: 8–10 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.

  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project deadlines.
