Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee high-rise building projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale construction activities while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent coordination skills, a deep understanding of high-rise construction, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of high-rise construction projects.

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and quality control processes.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential delays or issues.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and legal regulations.

  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management and clients.

  • Manage subcontractor performance and vendor relationships.

  • Lead site meetings and provide clear direction to teams at all project stages.

  • Drive continuous improvement in construction practices and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of managing high-rise construction projects.

  • Strong project management skills with knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

  • In-depth understanding of building codes, safety procedures, and construction best practices.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems under pressure.

Experience

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.

  • At least 3 years of direct experience managing high-rise residential or commercial projects.

  • Experience handling budgets exceeding multi-million-dollar projects.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or evenings as required by project demands.
