Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crane Rigger to join our construction site team. The Crane Rigger will play a critical role in ensuring heavy loads are properly secured, lifted, and positioned using cranes and other lifting equipment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment handling, and site safety regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with crane operators, site supervisors, and construction crews to deliver safe and efficient lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, inspect, and set up rigging equipment to support crane operations.

  • Safely attach loads to lifting devices using slings, shackles, chains, and hooks.

  • Direct crane operators using hand signals, radios, or other communication methods.

  • Ensure all rigging complies with safety standards and site-specific requirements.

  • Conduct daily inspections of rigging gear to identify wear, damage, or safety risks.

  • Assist in the movement, lifting, and placement of heavy materials and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of lifting activities and report safety concerns to supervisors.

  • Support site teams with general construction duties when not engaged in rigging activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of crane rigging practices, safety standards, and industry regulations.

  • Ability to read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and site drawings.

  • Skilled in the use of rigging tools and equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with crane operators and site teams.

  • Strong physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor construction environments.

  • Commitment to adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a rigger in construction or heavy-lifting projects.

  • Previous work with tower cranes, mobile cranes, or other heavy-lifting equipment is highly preferred.

  • Valid rigging or crane safety certification is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, 8–10 hours per day, six days a week (project-based flexibility required).

  • Overtime or weekend shifts may be required based on site demands.

  • Knowledge of load calculations, lifting angles, and weight distribution.

  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
