Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Specialist to join our remote health care support team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, clients, and medical professionals, ensuring their inquiries, concerns, and service requests are handled with efficiency, accuracy, and empathy. You will play an essential part in maintaining high-quality service standards and ensuring a positive customer experience in the health care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries related to health care services, insurance claims, and patient accounts.

  • Assist patients in scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and providing accurate information regarding treatment options and procedures.

  • Handle billing inquiries and support claims resolution by coordinating with internal departments and external partners.

  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions using the companys CRM and patient management systems.

  • Resolve issues efficiently while adhering to compliance and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA).

  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior staff or medical professionals as necessary.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and suggesting process enhancements.

  • Uphold a professional, empathetic, and patient-centered communication style at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred (in Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field).

  • Proven experience in a customer service or support role, ideally within the health care or insurance sector.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and online communication tools.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced remote environment.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection standards.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a health care customer service or related administrative role.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and health insurance procedures is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time remote position

  • Flexible scheduling with core hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (based on time zone)

  • Occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required depending on client needs.
