Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering insights from data, creating actionable reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making across departments. This role requires someone with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent Excel and database management skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise insights. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to help shape strategic initiatives using accurate, well-structured data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and insights.

  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel).

  • Interpret data and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.

  • Support performance tracking, forecasting, and business planning initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain documentation on data sources, metrics, and analytical processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data.

  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleaning and validation.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

  • Prior remote or cross-functional collaboration experience preferred.

  • Experience in data visualization and reporting tools will be an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote working schedule.

  • Core collaboration hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST) or equivalent time zone flexibility.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong sense of accountability, independence, and initiative in problem-solving.
