Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth integration, deployment, and maintenance of our software systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA teams, and system administrators to improve workflow efficiency.

  • Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  • Maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  • Ensure robust security practices are followed in deployment and monitoring processes.

  • Create detailed documentation for deployment procedures and system configurations.

  • Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

  • Expertise in Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and code review processes.

  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing, and system monitoring.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud infrastructure management.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments preferred.

  • Prior experience in a remote, globally distributed team is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time remote position.

  • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexibility may be required for collaboration across different time zones.
