Job Description


We are seeking a professional and responsible Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Heavy Vehicle Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the region.

  • Operate heavy vehicles such as trailers, or semi-trailers to transport goods to designated locations
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road
  • Plan and optimize routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and any incidents or delays
  • Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Adapt to various weather conditions and maintain safe driving practices at all times
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the public

Qualifications
  • Valid heavy vehicle driving license required - Category 4 UAE License
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience driving heavy vehicles
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, particularly in the UAE
  • Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to transportation laws
  • Basic vehicle maintenance skills
  • Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when required
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if needed
  • Familiarity with Dubai's road network and traffic patterns preferred
  • Additional certifications, such as Hazardous Materials endorsement, are a plus
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions typical of Dubai
  • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
