Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our construction workforce. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, an understanding of electrical safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures on construction sites.

  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to determine electrical layouts.

  • Ensure electrical systems comply with local codes, safety standards, and project guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely solutions.

  • Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction professionals.

  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for proper functioning.

  • Operate hand and power tools safely to complete tasks.

  • Follow health and safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma/Certification in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Working Hours

  • Standard work schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

  • Overtime or weekend shifts may be required based on project deadlines.
