Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking dedicated and hardworking General Laborers to join our Road and Highway Construction team. This role is essential in supporting various on-site construction activities, including site preparation, equipment handling, material movement, and assisting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and motivated to contribute to the completion of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and material handling.

  • Assist in preparing and cleaning construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up work areas.

  • Operate basic hand tools and construction equipment under supervision.

  • Support skilled tradespeople, including equipment operators, masons, and asphalt workers.

  • Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Maintain safety standards and comply with company and industry regulations at all times.

  • Load and unload construction materials as required.

  • Assist in traffic control and site organization on road and highway projects.

  • Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
