Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Help Desk Specialist with experience supporting both PC and Apple (macOS/iOS) environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems across multiple platforms. This is a 12 month contract and requires an active Public Trust.

Responsibilities:

    • Provide first-level support for Windows and Apple-based desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
    • Respond to help desk tickets via phone, email, or ticketing system, ensuring timely and professional resolution
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
    • Set up, configure, and maintain user accounts, workstations, and mobile devices (including Apple iPhones/iPads)
    • Assist with the deployment and support of desktop/laptop imaging and software installations
    • Maintain inventory of hardware, software licenses, and other IT assets
    • Document technical procedures, known issues, and solutions in the knowledge base
    • Provide remote support for offsite users as needed
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to support projects and system upgrades
$22 - $28 an hour
