Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our construction industry team. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position is ideal for individuals with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in line with industry standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including ducts, pipes, vents, and refrigeration units.

  • Perform inspections and routine maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems on construction sites.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete installations according to project plans.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.

  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures, building codes, and company quality standards.

  • Test systems for proper functioning and make adjustments as needed.

  • Maintain accurate service records, work logs, and documentation for each project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or certification in HVAC or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation procedures.

  • Ability to use tools and equipment such as gauges, testing devices, and power tools.

  • Familiarity with safety standards, construction codes, and regulations.

Experience

  • Overtime or flexible hours may be required depending on project deadlines.
