Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our clients technology team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, ensuring network reliability, and providing exceptional technical assistance to internal teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and IT infrastructure.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient network operations.

  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls within various systems.

  • Support cybersecurity measures, including firewall management, antivirus updates, and data protection protocols.

  • Assist in IT asset management, inventory tracking, and software licensing compliance.

  • Collaborate with the global IT team to implement system upgrades, patches, and new technologies.

  • Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures.

  • Provide remote support to global offices and ensure timely problem resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in IT support or systems administration (Windows, macOS, Linux).

  • Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls).

  • Familiarity with Office 365 administration, Active Directory, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Experience

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).

  • Standard office hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Singapore Time).

  • Flexibility to provide remote support or occasional after-hours maintenance when required.
