Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in accounting operations, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a basic understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.

Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers.

Support the preparation and filing of UAE VAT returns.

Assist in maintaining accurate financial documentation and records.

Prepare journal entries and assist with closing activities.

Coordinate with auditors and management for required reports or documentation.

Generate reports and perform data analysis using Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and IFRS principles.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1–3 years of accounting experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data validation, etc.).

Basic understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) is a plus.

Must be residing in UAE on Family/Spouse Visa or Own Visa.

Preferred Skills:

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

Familiarity with document control and reporting best practices.
