Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing transport and logistics division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day coordination of transportation operations, ensuring that goods and materials are delivered on time, safely, and efficiently. You will act as the central point of communication between drivers, clients, and management, ensuring seamless logistical operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment and delivery of goods and materials.

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and delivery routes to meet client requirements.

  • Maintain communication with drivers to track shipments and resolve any delays or issues.

  • Ensure all transportation activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulations.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules, and inventory.

  • Communicate with clients regarding shipment status, delays, or delivery confirmations.

  • Collaborate with the warehouse and procurement teams to optimize inventory movement.

  • Negotiate with vendors, freight companies, and suppliers to secure cost-effective logistics solutions.

  • Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

  • Manage documentation including invoices, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or transport dispatching.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or dispatch operations.

  • Prior experience in a trucking or freight management company is preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional weekend or evening availability during peak operations.
