Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and international shipping standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.

  • Manage inventory levels, stock records, and warehouse documentation.

  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport partners to optimize shipment schedules.

  • Track and resolve shipping delays, discrepancies, and damaged goods reports.

  • Prepare logistics reports, shipment documentation, and customs clearance paperwork.

  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with company safety policies and government regulations.

  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow and reduce operational bottlenecks.

  • Support the logistics team with scheduling, order tracking, and delivery coordination.

  • Utilize ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) for record maintenance and reporting.

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy in stock control and shipment handling.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in warehouse logistics or shipping coordination roles.

  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation and customs regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP/WMS systems, and general office software.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement orientation.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of logistics or warehouse coordination experience, preferably in an international or large-scale warehouse environment.

  • Prior exposure to Singapore logistics operations or import/export management is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Occasional weekend or overtime work may be required during peak logistics periods.
