Marcilly Recruitment’s client, an UHNW family based in Dubai, is seeking an energetic and easy going Nanny to support their three year old boy. This is a live-out role Monday to Friday with a fully furnished one bedroom apartment provided plus a car. The successful candidate must have experience working with children, ideally as a nanny in an UHNW household. The client is open if the candidate is a good fit for the family and has demonstrated a love of working with children. Open to ex-nursery workers and teachers. The successful candidate does not need prior experience working in the UAE and they are happy relocating a candidate. Fluent English is essential! They are a young family with extremely busy lives. The successful nanny must be a good team player who can work well in a fully staffed household. They must also thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing plans and schedules. Details

07:30 – 19:00 Monday to Friday – open to negotiation on nursery days The little boy is in nursery three mornings a week 8am to 12pm, so start times can be negotiated on those days. This is also a good time to catch up on any admin. Nanny Responsibilities
Full care for the little boy throughout the day. Keeping a watchful eye. Coordinating daily activities and supervising transportation to and from all engagements, playdates, appointments, classes, activities. The nanny must be prepared to plan fun and engaging activities to entertain the child, including lots of time outdoors. Organising and planning clubs for holidays, forward planning for future holidays. Organise birthday parties and liaise with team on any upcoming events. Organise gifts for upcoming children’s parties. Shopping for the child and organise gifts, books, hampers etc for holidays or events. Check all children’s supplies and replace when required. Manage communications with the nursery and organise anything needed. Wardrobe management. Check household email daily and respond where required. Flag anything important to the team where relevant. Managing any medical appointments, working closely with the PA and mother. Bed and bath time. Calendar management and organising any activities, play dates etc. Liaise with chef on menus – no allergies. Assisting with nursery pick up and drop off. Travel will be required with the role and all packing will be the nanny’s responsibility. Shopping for each trip, planning outfits for each day etc. The nanny should be prepared to organise educational activities for school holidays. Reading with the little boy, sourcing new books etc. Emotional and psychological learning. Work closely with the mother who can be hands on. Ensure the safety of the child at all times. The family have four children and each child has their own nanny. The house is fully staffed with housekeepers so there is no need for the successful nanny to clean the playrooms, organise the child’s laundry or cook for the children (chef on site). It may be necessary to direct the housekeepers with the playroom and organise the occasional sort out of toys. The successful nanny will be required to travel with the family in school holidays. They have multiple properties here in the UK, so a number of weeks are spent in London and the countryside a year, especially in the summer. When travelling this will be a 24/6 role.
