Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking talented and fluent interpreters for Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services. This fully remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while bridging communication gaps between individuals who speak different languages. As an interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating clear and accurate conversations between clients and their customers, ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, clear, and concise interpretation between English and the target language during phone and video calls.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor and tone while managing sensitive or confidential conversations.

  • Ensure messages are conveyed faithfully without omissions or additions.

  • Adhere to company policies and industry standards for interpretation quality and ethics.

  • Manage multiple sessions efficiently while meeting client service expectations.

  • Continuously improve linguistic and cultural knowledge through training and feedback.

  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team leads to ensure consistent service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and one or more additional languages (Arabic, French, Berber, or other regional languages preferred).

  • Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills.

  • Strong command of grammar and cultural nuances in both languages.

  • Access to a quiet workspace with a reliable internet connection, headset, and computer.

  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).

  • Professional attitude and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Experience

  • Prior experience in OPI or VRI interpretation is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Fresh graduates or bilingual individuals with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

  • Training will be provided for qualified candidates with strong language proficiency.

Working Hours
