Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Remote School Psychologist to provide professional psychological services to students in a virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate will support students emotional well-being, academic success, and overall mental health by offering counseling, assessments, and tailored intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations for students.

  • Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement intervention strategies.

  • Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.

  • Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Deliver training and consultation to educators and parents on student mental health needs.

  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment through preventive mental health strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field.

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state-specific requirements may apply).

  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, counseling techniques, and educational interventions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

  • High level of empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school or educational environment.
