Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking an experienced and proactive Remote HR Specialist to join our growing team in Brazil. This role is fully remote and ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in dynamic environments and excels in building a strong employee culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with local labor laws.

You will play a vital role in aligning HR practices with business goals while fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture across remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Brazilian labor regulations.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal policies.

  • Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and performance evaluation processes.

  • Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and career development.

  • Lead initiatives for employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture.

  • Assist in training and development programs to upskill employees and improve retention.

  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making.

  • Manage disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and grievance procedures professionally and fairly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner.

  • Strong understanding of Brazilian labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Portuguese and English.

  • Proficiency in HR software systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in Human Resources.

  • Prior experience working in remote or international teams is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working schedule aligned with Brazilian business hours.

  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday).

  • Occasional virtual meetings with international teams may require flexibility.
