Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Construction Technician to join our growing construction workforce. This role is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on experience in roofing, an eye for detail, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace roofing systems including shingles, tiles, metal, and flat roofs.

  • Inspect roof structures to assess damages and determine repair needs.

  • Apply weatherproofing and insulation materials as required.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company standards at all times.

  • Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet project deadlines.

  • Perform regular maintenance and quality checks to ensure the durability of roofing work.

  • Document work progress and report issues or delays to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in roofing construction, repair, or maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and safety standards.

  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights.

Experience

Working Hours

  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime or weekend work may be required based on project demands).
