Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Scaffolders to join our dynamic construction team specializing in high-rise projects. The role involves assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures that support construction crews and materials. As a Scaffolder, you will play a vital role in ensuring site safety and enabling efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Erect, dismantle, and maintain scaffolding structures for high-rise construction projects.

  • Read and interpret scaffolding plans, drawings, and work instructions.

  • Ensure all scaffolding is assembled according to safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding for stability, safety, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with construction teams to provide safe access and working platforms.

  • Secure scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment on-site.

  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

  • Report any structural or safety concerns to site supervisors immediately.

  • Adhere to company policies, occupational health and safety regulations, and local compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Scaffolder in high-rise or large-scale construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of scaffolding techniques, materials, and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights.

  • Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Valid scaffolding certification or trade qualification (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years experience as a Scaffolder in construction, preferably with high-rise projects.

  • Experience working with diverse scaffolding systems (tube and fitting, system scaffolds, etc.) is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role with 40–48 hours per week depending on project requirements.

  • Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on deadlines and workload.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of different scaffolding systems and erection methods.

  • Ability to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to adapt scaffolding solutions to project needs.
