Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a talented and proactive Security Engineer to join our growing global technology team. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage advanced security infrastructure and tools across systems, networks, and applications.

  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, breaches, and anomalies in real time.

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.

  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to ensure security is integrated into every stage of system development.

  • Manage identity and access controls, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions.

  • Conduct security awareness training for staff and promote a culture of cybersecurity across the organization.

  • Stay updated with the latest security threats, tools, and regulatory changes to enhance our defense strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection.

  • Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and incident response.

  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and vulnerability management tools.

  • Solid understanding of authentication systems, PKI, and encryption methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).

Experience

  • 3–6 years of proven experience as a Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Analyst, or related role.

  • Demonstrated success in managing security incidents and implementing large-scale security initiatives.

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
