Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter to join our bridge construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling formwork and shuttering for concrete structures, ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to project specifications. This role is critical to the structural integrity of bridges and offers hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for bridge projects.

  • Construct, assemble, and dismantle shuttering/formwork for concrete placement accurately and efficiently.

  • Ensure alignment, level, and dimensions of formwork meet project requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineers, site supervisors, and labor teams to execute tasks safely and on schedule.

  • Inspect materials and tools to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

  • Report progress, challenges, and potential risks to site management promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter or in a similar role in bridge or heavy civil construction.

  • Strong understanding of formwork materials, techniques, and concrete pouring processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

  • Knowledge of safety standards, tools, and equipment used in formwork carpentry.

Experience

Working Hours

  • Full-time, Monday to Saturday (flexible depending on project schedules).
