Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our commercial construction division. The Site Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for an engineering professional with strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with project plans and schedules.

  • Monitor and review work progress, quality, and safety on the construction site.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents for project execution.

  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Prepare reports on project progress, material usage, and site challenges for management review.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to site staff and workers.

  • Assist in managing project costs and optimizing resource utilization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in commercial construction projects.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

  • Flexibility required to work additional hours based on project demands.
