Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to audio and video recordings and transcribe them accurately into written form.

  • Create and synchronize captions for videos while maintaining readability and timing accuracy.

  • Proofread and edit transcripts for grammatical accuracy, punctuation, and clarity.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all client content and materials.

  • Adhere to formatting guidelines and project specifications.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure consistent quality and style.

  • Deliver completed work within set deadlines, maintaining an efficient workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Strong typing speed (minimum 60 words per minute) with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Proficiency in using transcription or captioning software tools (e.g., Express Scribe, oTranscribe, Descript, or similar).

  • Familiarity with time-stamping and subtitle formatting standards.
