Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a dedicated and skilled Underground Utility Worker to join our civil construction projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing underground utility systems, including water, gas, sewage, and electrical lines. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excavate and prepare sites for underground utility installation or repair.

  • Install, maintain, and repair pipelines, conduits, and other utility infrastructure.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate placement of utilities.

  • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and tools required for excavation and utility work.

  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems, leaks, or damages.

  • Follow all safety protocols and comply with local regulations and standards.

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other construction personnel to ensure timely project completion.

  • Document work performed, including progress reports, materials used, and issues encountered.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in construction or utilities is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of underground utility systems, installation methods, and maintenance practices.
