Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods into and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will handle incoming shipments, verify orders, prepare items for shipment, and maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting smooth warehouse operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

  • Prepare and package outgoing orders according to company standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, receipts, and inventory movements.

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure timely processing of goods.

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, report discrepancies or damages promptly.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

  • Support inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.

  • Knowledge of shipping procedures, labeling, and packaging standards.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment preferred.

  • Experience with inventory management, order fulfillment, or logistics operations is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.

  • Shifts may vary depending on operational needs, including early morning, evening, or weekend shifts.
