About the job Financial Analyst

Nathan & Nathan HR is a leading HR and Employee Outsourcing Provider across GCC.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our client, which is a research-based biopharmaceutical company headquartered in America.  This is a renewable contract engagement (Long term). 

Specific Responsibilities

The Finance Analyst will support the Finance Director to deliver efficient and compliant financial reporting. He/ She will play a key role in assisting in month/quarter/year closing, budget, LE, and day-to-day commercial activity.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Month / Quarter / Year closing: Assist in:

  • Reconciling OPEX on monthly basis and recommend adjustments if any
  • Analyzing revenues and highlighting variances to contracts (ASP / FOC / Commissions)
  • Following up with distributors on marketing support and cross charges. Reconcile invoices vs supporting documents and liaise with the concerned for approvals
  • Reconciling open POs and maintaining records for marketing activities against budgets
  • Liaising with the concerned in the shared service center for bookkeeping
  • Prepare VAT reports and work closely with the tax consultant to ensure accurate data are being reported
  • Generate Weekly and monthly reports to be shared with the business owners: Revenues & OPEX

Budget & LE

  • Assist the Commercial team and the Finance Director during Budget and LEs
  • Follow up with distributors to receive the needed data on time
  • Follow up with Customer Service to maintain an accurate forecast for an accurate phasing
  • Assist in the preparation of Excel models, dashboards, and presentations

Follow-ups and day-to-day responsibilities

  • Follow up with distributors regarding invoices/cross charges / Internal Market Sales
  • Follow up with customer service / Supply chain on invoicing and play as a facilitator between
  • distributors and logistics team

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in finance / Economics / Accounting
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience required
  • Experience supporting sales team
  • Experience working with commercial business units and distributors
  • High knowledge of ESSBASE, ORACLE, EXCEL, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with commercial leaders, supply chain, and distributors to facilitate forecasting activities
  • Ability to manage multiple analysis activities and deadlines simultaneously
  • High verbal and written communication skills
