Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bodily Injury Adjuster II or Senior to join our claims team at National General. In this role, you will handle and resolve bodily injury claims promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and state regulations. You will be responsible for evaluating complex claims, negotiating settlements, and delivering superior customer service while maintaining the integrity of the claims process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, investigate, and evaluate bodily injury claims to determine coverage and liability.

  • Conduct detailed interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties.

  • Analyze medical records, police reports, and other evidence to assess the extent of injuries and damages.

  • Negotiate fair and timely settlements within designated authority levels.

  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support claim decisions.

  • Work closely with attorneys, medical professionals, and other specialists as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and internal company policies.

  • Handle escalated or complex claims requiring advanced expertise.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication throughout the claims process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong knowledge of bodily injury claims handling and insurance regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills.

  • Proficient in negotiation and settlement techniques.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office Suite.

Experience:

  • For Adjuster II: Minimum 3+ years of experience in bodily injury claims handling.

  • For Senior Adjuster: Minimum 5+ years of experience in bodily injury claims with demonstrated expertise in complex claim resolution.

  • Prior experience in auto insurance or personal injury claims preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, standard business hours (with flexibility for additional hours during peak workloads).
