Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Podcast Virtual Assistant to support our growing podcast production team. This role is designed for an individual passionate about audio content, storytelling, and digital media, who can efficiently handle editing, publishing, and administrative tasks related to podcasts. The ideal candidate will ensure episodes are polished, published on schedule, and optimized for audience engagement across multiple platforms. This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a creative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit podcast episodes for clarity, sound quality, and consistency using audio editing software.

  • Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and advertisements as required.

  • Manage the publishing of episodes on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and others.

  • Write compelling show notes, descriptions, and timestamps for each episode.

  • Coordinate with hosts, guests, and other team members to schedule recordings and releases.

  • Monitor podcast analytics and provide reports to the team for performance insights.

  • Assist in promotional tasks, including social media clips, graphics, and newsletters.

  • Maintain organized digital archives of episodes, raw files, and content assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar.

  • Basic understanding of podcast hosting platforms and RSS feed management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and a creative approach to audio storytelling.

  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in podcast editing, content production, or a related digital media role.

  • Experience with remote collaboration tools such as Trello, Asana, Slack, or Zoom is highly desirable.

Working Hours
