Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Specialist to join our Global Power Plant On-Site Services team. This role involves providing expert-level technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for gas turbines at power generation facilities worldwide. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of gas turbine operations, field service experience, and the ability to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment under strict safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of gas turbines at client power plants.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues related to gas turbine systems.

  • Lead or assist with turbine overhauls, upgrades, and component replacements.

  • Prepare detailed service reports, documenting inspections, repairs, and recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all on-site activities.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to on-site teams and junior technicians.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify design improvements and enhance turbine efficiency.

  • Manage and maintain specialized tools, instruments, and spare parts inventory.

  • Support emergency service calls and respond promptly to unplanned outages globally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.

  • Strong knowledge of gas turbine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.

  • Ability to travel internationally and work in remote or industrial environments.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in gas turbine maintenance and field services.

  • Prior experience with major OEMs (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.) is highly desirable.

  • Experience in commissioning, outage management, and turbine diagnostics is preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position with flexible working hours based on project schedules.

  • Must be available for extended international travel and on-call support during outages or critical maintenance windows.
