Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced Product Training Specialist with expertise in access equipment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for employees, clients, and partners to ensure comprehensive knowledge and safe usage of access equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can simplify complex concepts, create engaging training materials, and provide hands-on demonstrations to ensure competency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver product-specific training programs for internal staff, distributors, and customers on the use and maintenance of access equipment.

  • Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions, including practical demonstrations and theoretical lessons.

  • Create detailed training manuals, presentations, and e-learning content tailored to various audiences.

  • Stay up to date with industry regulations, product updates, and best practices to keep training material relevant and accurate.

  • Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and technical teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive training content.

  • Maintain training records, attendance logs, and certification data for all participants.

  • Ensure all training programs comply with health, safety, and operational guidelines.

  • Support troubleshooting sessions and provide post-training support when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technical Education, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a technical trainer, product specialist, or similar role within the access equipment or construction equipment industry.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to simplify technical information for a wide range of learners.

  • Proficiency in using training tools, e-learning platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on technical knowledge of access equipment.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical training, product training, or field service for access equipment.

  • Prior experience working with aerial lifts, scaffolding, or other access systems is highly preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday.

  • Standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) with occasional flexibility for training sessions in different time zones.

  • Some travel may be required to conduct on-site training sessions.
